Need help with Voyager?

Start with the common questions below. If something is not working as expected, send us a message.

Why did Voyager block a link?

Scan and Focus are designed to stay within the site you intentionally opened. A link to an unrelated website may be blocked even when the link itself is legitimate.

When should I use Emergency?

Use Emergency when you need broader web access and Scan or Focus cannot complete the task. Emergency is temporary and uses the duration and daily-session limits you chose ahead of time.

How do commitment delays work?

Standard generally makes weakening changes wait 24 hours. Hardcore generally makes weakening changes wait 7 days, including switching back to Standard. More restrictive changes generally take effect immediately.

What is Device Protection?

Device Protection is optional. When enabled, Voyager uses Apple Screen Time to restrict supported routes to unrestricted browsing, including Safari and new app installs where iOS permits.

Why does Voyager need Screen Time access?

Voyager needs Screen Time authorization to apply Device Protection. Without that permission, Voyager cannot enforce those system-level restrictions.

Why does Voyager need camera access?

Camera access is used by Scan to recognize QR codes. The permission is requested when you first use Scan.

Does Voyager receive my browsing history?

Voyager V1 does not operate a ModusBios server that receives your browsing history. Websites you visit can still receive information from your device under their own privacy policies.

How do I clear Focus and Scan website data?

Open Voyager Settings and use Clear Focus & Scan Website Data. This clears the shared persistent website data used by Focus and Scan without deleting your Focus list or commitment settings.

Can phone, email, messages, or maps links still work?

Voyager can allow supported system actions such as calls, email, messages, and maps when they are part of the task you are doing.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Voyager subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and the App Store. Apple handles billing, renewals, and cancellation.
